in in in in ensuring that the the the offender population is afforded the the the opportunity to to practice their respective faiths while incarcerated Office of Educational Services The The mission of of the Office of of Educational Services is is to provide student inmates with academic vocational and life-skills programming The The NJDOC regards correctional education as as a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a critical component to to assisting offenders with reentry into society Staff members supervise support and and ensure delivery of of educational educational services services services including law library
services services and and educational educational volunteer services services Unlike a a a a a a a a a a a traditional school setting the the the NJDOC follows an an an open-entry open-exit policy Students enter or or exit exit classes according to to their educational educational needs and and entrance to to the the the the facility The educational educational programs are consequently dynamic individualized and and and and aligned with the the the the Common Core standards (now known as the the New Jersey Student Learning Standards) Each of the the Department’s main facilities holds a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a graduation ceremony annually to celebrate student achievements
